On 9/28/2008 one of my best friends, Scott Vander Yacht reached his final destination.

Scott and I became friends in 1983. We shared a common interest in Motorcycles.

Scott was my racing partner for the 20 years I enjoyed the sport.

Well,,, for 20 years Motorcycle Drag Racing was a very big part of my life. I very much enjoyed (still do) the extreme rush of blasting down the 1/4-mile in 10 seconds at 138 MPH. There is not much in life that can compare to the feeling but ... as they say, "All good things must come to an end".

I made the final decision to "get out" of Motorcycle Dragracing in January of 2005. The 20 year "ride" was one I will never forget but, it is time to move on to bigger and better "time consumers". I will keep my Dragracing WebPages in "archive" on my site...
